It is no coincidence that Monique Vendetti-Mortimer has a lifelong passion for the arts and for design. She was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. Her father an artist in oil painting and her mother a professional ballet dancer. The arts are in Monique’s blood.
Monique graduated from Sheridan College in 1977 with a degree in fashion design and textiles. Monique has expressed her creativity through several mediums. In the 1980′s she gained recognition for her exclusive alternative-to-fur fashion collections which included hand made knit sweaters, coats, and accessories. Monique also enjoyed success as an entrepreneur in Carmel, California where she owned a high fashion boutique. Her creations which were sold across the USA in Saks Fifth Ave, Nordstrom, I- Magnin, Lord & Taylor as well as high end boutiques.
Monique also worked in real estate sales and obtained her mortgage brokers license in California. Monique has combined all her successful professional experiences and focused her creative talents and passions towards home design and custom art painting. Her experience in fashion, art and home design will render an improved aesthetic quality to your home and reflect your personal taste and vision. She tailors her work to the architecture and use of space, creating comfortable and beautiful interiors for a wide range of clientele. A carefully selected team of creative and crafts professionals along with her diverse styling experience allows for an optimized design concept which she orchestrate to final expression.
